Relax in our Lounge Bar

Whether you are here for an early morning coffee, afternoon tea or an evening drink with friends our aim is to provide a warm, relaxing place for you to spend time.

The Southcliff is a small family-owned business with a lot of character and personal touches. We have operated and improved the B&B over the past several years. Our most notable improvements have been our lounge bar which was handmade and decorated to create a comfortable relaxing space for our guests. The lounge bar is an informal, charming space open during the day suitable for relaxing. With snacks, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available during the evening.

We stayed here for four nights. Extremely clean, towels are changed every day. Really comfortable bed and pillows suited us just right. Jeremy was extremely welcoming and lovely to chat to. He gave us ideas for trips and places to eat. Would recommend The Harbour pub and brew house. This is so convenient for south beach and the town centre. It took us a while to realise that there is some completely free parking when you can find a space. We recommend nearby Colby Woodland gardens. A lovely walk through to Amroth beach and it has the most amazing cakes. There are some beautiful beaches nearby. We really liked Manorbier, about half hour west. Beaches are really safe for children, blue flag and very shallow.

Lovely room with plenty of space and comfortable bed. Breakfast served in a hamper to your room which is an excellent idea. There’s a lovely small bar area as well. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place to stay in Tenby Wales, I would highly recommend if you are looking for a get away from the busy city life. The room was perfect and just what we needed. The owner of the hotel was really nice and friendly and a great bar man too! I absolutely loved the breakfast hamper idea! I have a gluten intolerance and they done their best to make sure I had breakfast options which was very much appreciated. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the beach and the views are very beautiful!

We really enjoyed our two nights here and will definitely be coming back next year.

Stayed in room 6 which was spotlessly clean. Friendly welcome when we arrived. Breakfast brought to our room every morning in a picnic basket which was a nice idea. Excellent location. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay. The guesthouse & room was immaculate! We had a peaceful 4 night stay in a twin room. A lovely quiet stay. Breakfast was amazing!!!
The hosts were lovely, helpful and very kind. We had everything we needed.
Again spotless! and facilities all there.
I would recommend here to anyone who enjoys a quiet break.
We could not fault anything.
If only Tenby itself was as half as peaceful as this gem ;-)

Fantastic owners who go above and beyond to help, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is served in a hamper delivered to the room, where there is an excellent choice of food and drink items on the menu. Rooms and facilities are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great location, five minute walk to town centre, two minute walk to the beach. Thoroughly recommend, we have already booked again for next year!

Have stayed at southcliffe for many years and never thought to leave a review. However I feel in a society when people only tend to complain its important to praise. The welcome is genuine, the rooms are spotless and the addition of a lounge bar is excellent. We have already booked again for next year. Plenty of lovely eating places and beautiful beaches. A must visit. Saundersfoot is also a good place to visit, had abut of a regeneration

A lovely and quiet hotel in a gorgeous coastal town. The owners are polite and efficient, and keep the building tidy at all times. It felt more like someone's home than a hotel. I especially enjoyed the handmade breakfast, delivered each morning in a hamper.

This is a gem of a hotel, just a few minutes to the beach. Superb staff. The room was clean and well decorated, very comfy bed with tub chairs and table. The breakfast is delivered via a hamper to you room. Super quality fresh and filling. Great way to start the day and this method cuts down on waste great Eco-Friendly idea. I would thoroughly recommend The Southcliff. Will be returning here in the summer.
